“Planet Prescription” Before the coronavirus crisis, I was traveling around the Southeast United States filming doctors and health professionals. Filming “Planet Prescription” took me to rural Tennessee, the city of Atlanta, Georgia, and across North Carolina. I listened to an epidemiologist, pulmonologist, intensive care unit nurse, cardiac surgeon, internist, immunologist, registered nurse, social worker, counselor, and pediatric pulmonologist. I followed healers where they work: at huge hospitals, community hospitals, an elementary school, a university wellness center, a doctor’s office in a suburban mini mall, a Southeast Narrative Healthcare Symposium, and a Mothers and Others for Clean Air Grand Rounds Training. And when COVID hit, it changed everything.

""Planet Prescription, a moving documentary by director Dayna Reggero, tackles topics not often discussed with grace and urgency... It's an eye opening film that should make its viewers upset and uncomfortable yet inspired in a way -- determined to help make a change. It's an important documentary that comes in a perfect time, here to highlight the things that matter and have its voice heard.”
